JUDGMENT
ACCORDING TO WORKS
Even
though our eternal salvation is NOT based on our works, (see Ephesians
2:8,9; Titus 3:5; Romans 9:11; II Timothy 1:9;
Galatians 2:16; Romans 3:20, etc.), it
is erroneous to conclude our works are of no significance!!!
God
DOES judge His people according to their works while they live here in this
world, and our works determine whether we experience a heaven on earth (
kingdom of heaven), or a hell on earth (separation from fellowship with God
while here on this earth). Even though
nothing can separate us from the love of God, we CAN be separated from
fellowship with God!!!
Please
study some of the following Scriptures which show that God does judge His
people according to their works while they live here in this world.
